What Do Project YES! Members Do?
Members serve as tutors and mentors, creating volunteer opportunities for students and community members, as well as having the opportunity to partner with classroom teachers and program staff in order to enhance core curriculum and create innovative learning environments. Members serve from September to the end of July in schools and nonprofits in Chicago. Members also participate in member training, workshops, and lectures once a week. In their year of service, members must serve a minimum of 1700 hours.
